Introduction to the I.T. councillors

Hi, I'm Ryan, I am one of the I.T. councillors. I love technology and hope to use more of it around the school. I think that technology will be very helpful in the future but it could make people very lazy. I would like to help the lower years of the school be better at coding.

Thursday 18th June - Swimming Sports

Every year in Term 1, our Year 1-6 students have swimming lessons in our school pool with the Year 7 and 8's going up to the pools at Sacred Heart.   Being in a country surrounded in water with many beautiful beaches, it is important to learn basic swimming skills and how to be safe in water in a variety of situations.  Near the end of Term 1, all of our students participate in swimming sports with our juniors sharing with their families and friends what they have learned and our older students competing in events such as freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, medley and relays. Sasha and Lily have put together a short video with some media from our swimming sports days and some interviews with students who participated.
