Hi Glendowie,

We are Sophie and Lara and we are your Property Councillors for 2017. We have a load of fun things in store for you all this year, and with us we have some amazing Property Leaders, Daniel and Hinano.

As the Property Team we set up for all assemblies and are in charge of sorting out all events. This year we have something special for you all that we are working on and we will update you all later on this year.

If you have any questions come and see one of us.

Our Brand New Tiger Turf

Kia ora Glendowie, Our school is very lucky to have had such committed workers, Tigerturf, who spent 5 1/2 months working on our multi-sport turf. We, the Sport and Property Councillors, planned the big opening to show off our new facility. We even got Mr Kloppers to cut a ribbon and bought some presents for Mrs Biggs, Miss Matos, Mr Fale and the Board of Trustees to say thanks. We made a roster of who can go on the turf each day, then after two weeks we opened it to the whole school. Our school has been using the facility with a I-Care attitude and using it carefully. Keep up the good work and enjoy our new and improved play area. Thanks to the Board of Trustees, Mr Kloppers and Tigerturf.  We really appreciate your hard work. Finally the day has arrived! We've had so many great entries so a big congratulations to everyone who entered! After the syndicate voted we have our two winners for the front and back cover of the 2018 Yearbook. Don't worry if yours didn't win because it will still be included in the inside of the yearbook. Tiaki's Antarctic Adventure

The Year 7's have been looking at exploration and discoveries in their last unit of the year "Where We Are in Place and Time".  We focus on Antarctica and have been learning a lot about what it is like down there and the explorers who ventured down there in the past. We all want to go to Antarctica - but one special Glendowie student really did get to go down there.  Check out his snaps...
